With curriculum night just a week away, I thought and thought about what I can do to get great parent turnout.  So, after searching and searching I came across a cute idea on Pintrist.  Here it is,  a gift basket raffle.  I went to the dollar store and bought a ton of goodies to put in the basket.  If the children bring a parent to curriculum night, they are automatically qualified for the basket.  The next day at school I will draw a ticket from the students who's parent attended.  I really hope this works out.  I will let you know.

Blogging Help

Okay, I am in some severe need of some HELP with blogging.  I have no idea what I am doing.  I have been playing around on blogger for about three days and am still confused.  How do sparkle up my page?  PLEASE HELP!!

National Board Certification

I have been teaching in the classroom for 8 years and have recently decided to apply for my National Board Certification.  While I know the about all of the effort and work this process will be I am actually looking forward to it.  I am recently Married to my best friend and we don't have any children yet so I though my timing in this decision could not have been any better.

Becoming a Blogger

Whew, I have survived the first two weeks of school.  I finally have time to start my journey into the blogging world.  I have been so intrigued with all of the wonderful stuff I have seen posted by some pretty amazing teachers so I thought I would join the club.
